My love for travel planning began at a young age, always inspired by watching my dad meticulously organize every detail of our family vacations. Looking back, I should have known that my obsession with the details of our family travel would shape my career path. A summer exploring Europe with my closest friends during college deepened my appreciation for travel beyond the details and I fell in love how travel connects us more deeply to the people we love and to beautiful new corners of the world.

After a rewarding career in healthcare, I was drawn back to my longtime passion. I went on to work for one of the travel industry’s most respected destination management companies, where I refined my skills in itinerary design and high-end client service. Erin McEwen Travel launched in 2024 as a way to bring together my love of logistics and obsession with sharing the world's most beautiful places.

When I’m not planning your trips or collecting inspiration for trips of my own, you can find me spending time at home with my husband and our two boys, sharing a bottle of wine with friends, or trying out one of Birmingham’s great restaurants.
