Hotel Matchmaker
This service is designed for our clients who don’t need a full itinerary, just help finding the perfect place to stay. You’ll receive 3 to 5 hotel matches, all vetted and styled for you. This service is ideal for single-destination getaways, like tropical stays.
Preferred Hotel Bookings
For our clients who know exactly where and when they want to go. We are happy to extend our preferred partner status and amenities like complimentary breakfast, hotel credits, and top-of-the-list status for room upgrades to you on a complimentary basis.
Dedicated Air Desk
Our in-house flight team secures the best routes and preferred fares for business and first-class travel. This team manages every detail from the initial booking to any adjustments, including schedule changes or delays. You’ll have trusted support in your corner to navigate and resolve any disruptions.

The Planning Process —
01. Inquire
Our client inquiry form is designed to capture the preliminary details of your trip and help us get a sense for what you're imagining. We will review your inquiry and follow up within 24-48 hours to schedule a call. We can't wait to get to know you better, discuss your destination, and learn how we can best serve you.
02. Design & Refine
Once we have a high level understanding of your desires, we will begin researching and collaborate with our in-destination partners to design your proposal. From there, we will continue to refine your proposal until it is perfectly matched to your taste. We will reserve, confirm, and reconfirm all of the details of your itinerary.
03. Experience
Ahead of your departure, your final itinerary will be delivered via our itinerary app, complete with an up-to-date schedule, curated destination guides, and in-destination emergency contact numbers. Depart for your trip knowing a holiday filled with inspiration and ease awaits. Behind the scenes, we are working to ensure everything is going seamlessly and remain available to you in case you need anything.
04. Debrief

Does Erin McEwen Travel charge a planning fee?
We offer a paid professional planning service. After a complimentary phone consultation to make sure your trip is a good fit for our business, we’ll recommend the level of service that best fits your needs and collect a non-refundable planning fee to begin working together. Our fees vary based on the scope and complexity of your trip, including the number of destinations and travelers, length of travel, and proximity to departure.
Is there a budget minimum for trip planning?
Do you break down pricing on proposals?
Every trip and client's needs are different, so we do not have a trip cost minimum in place. Our preferred partnerships are primarily with 4-star and 5-star properties. For European itineraries, our services are best matched with clients willing to invest a minimum of $600 per person per day.
Why should I book with a travel advisor?
We’ve booked the flights, walked through the hotels, and taken the meetings to know the people and places that make a trip special. Those industry relationships mean your bookings are recognized and prioritized, your guides and partners are hand-picked, and you have an advocate who knows who to call when you need one. We sift through the TikTok recommendations, Google results, and AI noise to find what’s actually right for you—not just recreate the trip everyone else is taking. The result is better access, thoughtful VIP touches, and a trip that feels distinctly yours.
Whenever possible, we break down trip costs in a proposal. However, many of the industry’s best travel suppliers negotiate confidential wholesale rates with their individual guides/suppliers, and are contractually unable to break down costs when pricing a customized itinerary. We only work with trusted suppliers that we know are committed to negotiating fair prices for extraordinary experiences for our clients
